Before your first treatment, it's important to avoid sun exposure on areas being treated. Your skin needs to be its natural skin tone in order to be safely treated, so no tanning or sunless tanner throughout your treatment. We'll need you to shave 2-3 days before your first treatment, waxing and plucking should be avoided. Come in for treatments with clean skin- no makeup, lotions, deodorants, or perfumes. You can have your esthetician shave you for an extra fee the day of appointment if notified in advance and time is allotted.

We’re so excited for you! Here’s how your first treatment will go:
- A temporary grid will be drawn on the treatment area to ensure accuracy & coverage.
- Safety goggles will be provided. Your provider will adjust the laser to the exact specifications.
- Our laser uses a cooling tip to provide the most comfortable treatments possible.
- Post-treatment instructions are provided
Treatments 3-6

Welcome back! You’ll notice you don’t have to shave as often, and hair is noticeably sparser. After your first treatment, the laser power will begin to increase with each visit to provide you with the best results possible.
Your Graduation Treatment
Generally, between treatments 10-12 you can do a happy dance because you are 95%+ Hair free! Hooray! You won't come in for regular treatments anymore.
TOuch-up Treatments
Some skin types and conditions don’t require any maintenance, while others need 1-2 maintenance sessions a year for the first 2 years. Your practitioner can best advise depending on your specific needs.

IPL Photofacial
A Photofacial treatment is a series of gentle intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments developed to improve the appearance of sun damaged and aged skin, as well as reduce redness and flushing, resulting in more youthful-looking skin. IPL Photofacial (also known as fotofacial) treatments consistently and predictably improve the texture, tone and color of the skin with little to no down time. IPL also stimulates the growth of collagen, decreases pore size and gives skin a youthful appearance. IPL will also decrease the appearance of blemishes such as brown spots, age spots, sun damage, freckles, and redness from rosacea. Noticeable results can appear after the first treatment though a series is recommended for optimal results. The effects of an IPL Photofacial series can be long-lasting if the skin is well cared for.
Instructions Before IPL Photofacial Treatment:
Discontinue use of Accutane® for six months, Retin-A® for two weeks and glycolic acid and alpha-hydroxy acid products for a week before your treatment. Avoid sun and sunless tanning for four weeks. Do not take aspirin or other blood thinners for at least three days before your treatment. You cannot be treated while you have infections or sores in the area.
Instructions for after IPL Photofacial Treatment
Protect your skin with moisturizers and sunscreen. Cold compresses and steroid creams may be used as necessary. Avoid irritating your skin, and keep away from the sun and sunless tanners for a couple of weeks after your IPL photofacial.
